Hi Dan!

I assume that everything remains the same when updating our membership via the ABS website? It will be that time of year before too long.....and knowing me, I'll forget about it until somebody says something here on the fourms! <img src=' http://www.americanbladesmith.com/ipboard/public/style_emoticons//smile.gi f' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Everything is exactly the same for ABS Membership renewal Online on the ABS Website. All annual ABS memberships still expire on December 31st each year.

Cindy Sheely will now be handling the entire membership services job herself which is a big and time intensive job so we need everyone to do what they can to make her job more manageable.

I designed the ABS Membership cards so that your expiration date is at the bottom of the card and in addition any member can login to the ABS Website and view their membership expiration date or update their contact information themselves.

Mail in membership renewals will now go to Cindy Sheely at the ABS Office address at:

American Bladesmith Society, Inc.

P.O. Box 160

Grand Rapids, OH 43522

Sally has now retired from this position after serving our members as a volunteer for the last five (5) years. You will be in very good hands with Cindy.

Thank you for the kind words of confidence Dan. I will do my best and I know all the members will help me.

I also want to thank Sally for all the work she's done these past years as well as the guidance to me that will make my job easier.

I just logged on and tried to renew my membership...after putting in my card number I clicked confirm and the page flashed and went to the same page again. I'm just not sure if the renewal was completed or not. I tried it several times and the same thing. Not sure if I did it right, I was never sent to a confirmation page. Can someone confirm?

Glad to see that you are working on renewing your membership. You need to contact Cindy Sheely at email [email protected] or call (419) 832-0400 and she will assist you with your renewal. I have already sent an email this evening to Cindy asking her to assist you.

I receive messages and alerts for almost everything and did not see your renewal come through today.

Update:

Cindy has confirmed that your attempted transaction did not go through and has sent you an email to offer advice and assistance.
