Hi Dan,
I look forward to this site's launch. It looks great. I didn't know where to post this. I'm accustomed to a section for site business admin like questions. Maybe this is alright here? Anyway, I just updated my profile a bit and added an avatar. The avatar doesn't seem to showing up though, although it shows it on my profile screen when I go to edit it. Am I misunderstanding something, or....? FYI, I also tried logging out and back it, but that didn't do it either. It will be interesting to see if my signature shows up on this post too.
Thanks for all this!
Phil
Ha, okay it all showed up. I guess it's just not showing on the banner or masthead at the top of the page. The ABS logo is on the left and my user name with a generic silhouette image is on the right.
In the priceless words of Gilda Radner..."never mind." I have figured it out. It is a separate photo from the avatar one. I since have uploaded another one and, tada, there it is. (If you want, feel free to delete this thread.)
Hey Folks,
Geesh, this self dialog is getting out of hand! Anyway, another quick question....
I understand anyone can read the ABS forum sections, but only ABS members can actually post to them. Is it correct to infer, that nonmembers cannot only not post to this Members Only section, but cannot read it as well? Thanks!
Eagerly awaiting more folks in the sandbox.
All the best, Phil

Phil:
You are correct. Non-ABS members do not have write/post permissions on the ABS Forum in any area and they can not read the Forums in the Member's Only areas.
Most of the current members on the Forum are in Little Rock at the knife show this weekend.

I like the " New Topic" header , but it would be cool if there were a "New Posts" header too , so you can see what new posts there have been.
Just an observation and opinion.
