Today the subscriber list for the ABS YouTube Channel reached 3,107 subscribers. Subscribers follow our ABS Channel and are notified each time a new video is uploaded to the ABS YouTube Channel. Subscribers can also post "Comments" to our videos.
As of today we have had more than 551,882 views of the videos on the ABS YouTube Channel. Our ABS YouTube videos have been viewed in 192 countries during 2014. We currently have 98 videos uploaded to the ABS YouTube Channel.
Thanks to all members that have given so generously of their time and knowledge to film or be filmed for these videos and to further the educational mission of the American Bladesmith Society.

This is an example of why the ABS is growing. Exposure to a world wide audience has surged our numbers and created an interest in, not only forging, but knife making in general. To my thinking, keeping the craft in the public's eye and in such a positive light works to quell fears about knives and reduces the need for political involvement. The website and our participation works together for just such a purpose along with actual education.
