I want to see some forge pictures! This is my vertical propane forge.

I really enjoy using propane and the pyrometer is a great asset. So what does your setup look like?

This is my gas forge Bill Wiggens helped me get from Len. Works like a champ, at temp on 4 PSI.

1.25 " ball bearing being heated to make a very small knife out of.

Here's a couple pics of my home built horizontal forge.

10" diameter pipe body 2" Kao wool insulation lined with Satanite. (Next time I'll probably go with 1" insulation to increase interior volume)

Adjustable work rest

PID controlled forced air with a Darrin Ellis burner kit (Now High Temp Tools and Refractory)

Bolted onto the bottom section of a Craftsman roll box (craigslist $25 for bottom and top sections) to keep everything together and easily stored out of the way when not in use.

Nice setups guys. Mine is almost the same as Jon's, but I think it burns too much propane.

I'm willing to build a new and smaller forge, more like George's.
