Hi Guys hope this is not to dumb! this is my first slip joint folder and I hope not to screw it up, are the spring and blade tang the same thickness and should I make the blade pivot a few thousand's more than the blade thickness? I'm using a 3/16" pivot bushing with a 1/8" pin.

The blade and spring should be the same thickness. The relief milled around the pivot hole in the liners will prevent the blade from being scratched while opening and closing.

Could someone post a picture of the liner relief? Is it visible on the finished knife when closed?

Found a picture in the lock back thread.
