There will be an ABS Awards Ceremony on Friday, June 5, 2015 immediately after the Blade Show closes for the day beginning at 7pm in Room# 103 of the Galleria (same room as JS Judging and the ABS Knife Auction). Please join us to honor our new Journeyman, Master Smiths, and other award recipients. The Blade Show is providing this room to us at no charge and it will be in place of the banquet which had become very expensive for our members.
We encourage everyone to attend to honor the new Master Smiths, Journeyman Smiths, and other award recipients. There is no charge for this event.

Top masters in the world of bladesmithing have donated a series of outstanding knives for the American Bladesmith Society Annual fund raiser at the 2015 Blade Show in Atlanta, Georgia on Saturday June 6th at 10AM in Room #103 of the Galleria. This event promises to be even better than the auction last year. Collectors and aficionados of high end custom knives will have an exclusive opportunity to view and hear detailed descriptions by the makers themselves of possibly the best knives at the entire show.The ABS Members who have been selected and generously agreed to make the knives for the 2015 American Bladesmith Society Knife Auction and as they complete their work, we will post photos, descriptions, and videos.

I had the enjoyment of attending the 2015 Blade Show in Atlanta, GA. At the time I was a free lance reporter for a local TV station here in Lake Havasu City, AZ.
