For those of you who have never been to the school.
This set up is very nice. Derek and Nick have really got things working. If you decide to fly in, the school is about 25 minutes from the airport in Portland. An easy drive. The dorms are nice and lots of eateries close by. Christoph is quite an interesting guy too. His work has a style that is unique and his forging is superb.
If I were not 5,000 plus miles away and had the time off, I'd be all over that. Like Lin said: good folks, school and opportunity! Let me know if you do a summer intro class or tire hammer class.
