Is there any information available on this class? Such as what all is covered, who is teaching the class, any prerequisites, and any other information that might be relvant for someone deciding whether to attend.

I also needed more information about the folders class and have been in contact with Bill Wiggins who is the ABS Coordinator for Haywood Community College. I will post the information as soon as I receive it.

I learned this week that Master Smith Steve Dunn will be the instructor for the December Slip Joint Folder class at Haywood Community College. I have taken Damascus and Engraving classes from Steve and he is an excellent instructor and one of the best Slip Joint Folder makers in the country. This will be a great class!

I would recommend this class highly and register now as this class will fill quickly.

I'm confused about this one since the posted schedule a few topics down on this section of the forum list this class as a "damascus" class?

If this is a slip-joint class I may(probably) be interested in attending also.

Sounds good, my lady's bday is on the 7th, but maybe I can get away with it, if I buy her something extra nice. <img src=' http://www.americanbladesmith.com/ipboard/public/style_emoticons//wink.gi f' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
