Hey ABS Members!

Are you in the market for a 2x72 belt sander? We will be running a two day belt sander build at the New England School of Metalwork in Auburn, Maine. The class is on April 27-28th and the enrollment deadline is February 1st with a cost of $1350.

This 2x72 belt sander is loosely based on the "no weld" sander plans. Ours features fully welded construction, shortened precision shafts, high quality pillow blocks, machined sheaves, sleeved pivot points and 4 speeds. This design allows you to switch from an 8" contact wheel to a platen, to a 3"contact wheel to a slack belt with a turn on one bolt. This class was a huge success last year with 10 sanders built. The feedback has been great.

Shop around! You will not find a cheaper way to get into an industrial quality 2x72 machine.

Each student will leave with a running, tuned grinder ready to put to work!
