Does anyone know if the William F. Moran, Jr. Museum's Bladesmith & Artisan Academy in Middletown, Maryland will be offering an ABS-approved "Introduction to Bladesmithing" course?

Link: https://www.williammoranmuseum.com/general-6-1

I ask because this location is much closer to my home than the other schools by about half the driving time.  The two schools offering the course nearest me -- Arc & Flame Center and Virginia Institute of Blacksmithing -- are about a five-and-a-half-hour drive, while this new location in Maryland is about a three-hour drive.

I am hoping to take the full course either later next year (2024) or in early 2025, and I'm hoping that something will be available by that time.

Thank you!

Hello Richard,

I can't say anything definitive yet, but we are looking at this and may have an answer soon.

Thank you for the reply, Mr. Cashen!  I appreciate it.

I am trying to plan ahead so that I can move into pursuing the ABS Journeyman designation after I complete the first two certifications through ABANA.  I am currently working on their NC Level 1 certification.
