The way it turns out, I'm not going to do any of the methods mentioned verbatim.

I've devised - in my head - and after a talkwith Jerry, a compilation/hybrid method that I will do on the first of my two T/T blades.

I try and think about how the pattern will flow in the finished piece and then adjust how I treat the point based on that. On this one I am working on right now, I wanted to keep the wrap on the feathered spine, I also wanted the edge bar to continue all the way to the point so this was assembled in steps the spine chevrons and coarse layered bar first then the point was forged over to 45% angle and then the edge bar welded on allowing the spine bar to continue the edge to run to the point and the core bars to terminate into the edge.
