Hi Steve,

The Haywood Knife Group meets the first tuesday of each month, at 7pm. The school is in Clyde, NC. We are meeting tomorrow night. I believe Dan Warren, JS, will be shaping the handle and gaurd on a knife we are making. Most of the time, several of us will meet at 5pm at Sagebrush steak house at exit 31 to eat before heading to the meeting. Bill Wiggins

Steve, we normally finish up around 9pm. Richard Williams will be doing the Sept. demo. He is always great to watch. Not sure what he will be doing, but I am sure he will use most of the demo to forge.

I just joined the ABS and got access to these forums earlier today. Are these monthly meetings still occurring at Haywood CC? I'm also about 2 hours away (Easley, SC), so this wouldn't be too much of a stretch for me to do once a month.

Thanks,

Josh

Josh:

Contact Bill Wiggins at (828) 226-2551 and he can give you the information about the Haywood monthly meetings.

You will also want to consider attending the Great Smoky Mountain Symposium at Haywood Community College on March 4, 5, and 6, 2011.
