Hi everybody, I would like to announce a different type of class that Master smith Rick Dunkerley and I are putting on at my shop outside of Boise Idaho. the class will run from October 29 thru November 3, 2018. the first three days of class will be forging w's pattern Damascus with some discussion on feather pattern steel and explanation of making of my river of fire pattern. The last three days will be using the Damascus made to make a liner lock folder with Rick Dunkerly. student will leave with a working heat treated knife made from their own Damascus. They will also take home any remaining Damascus that they have made. contact Rick Dunkerley or myself if interested. attached is a picture of a knife I made after two days with Rick. please excuse the chipped pearl I am an oaf.
