CENTRAL STATES HAMMER-IN

& KNIFE SHOW

September 21, 2019

The Central States Hammer-In & Knife Show will be held in Claremore Oklahoma this year on September 21st, 2019 at Helton Custom Knives. There will be several great demonstrations planned as well as a cutting competition.

Jantz supply will be on hand with a full range of knife making supplies also along with several others.

Free admission to the public and if you would like a vendors table for sales please feel free to contact me for more information. Tables are $100 per 8ft table

The demonstration schedule is as follows:

8am-9am Knife Judging (all knives entered must be on the judging table by

8 am to be judged and awards given out at 9 am)

9am – 10am Ray Kirk – Forged Integral Knife

10am – 11 am Tad Lynch – Domed Pins

11am – 12pm Steve Culver – Forge Building

12pm – 1pm Jo Smith – Cutting Competition

1pm - 2pm Gary Mulkey- Mosaic Damascus/canister damascus

2pm – 3pm Brion Tomberlin – Hamon Lines

3pm – 4pm Allen Newberry – Delft Clay Casting Demonstration

4pm – 5pm Paul Brown – Knife Grinding Demonstration

We will have a get together around 6pm Friday evening at Helton Custom Knives, 18633 S Fern Place, Claremore OK 74019 (the site of the Hammer-In). There will be a camp fire and plenty of free hot dogs and drinks for all the table holders. Bring a comfortable chair and stay awhile. On Saturday, Knife Awards will be given for Best Hunter, Bowie, Folder, Damascus, Fighter, EDC and Best of Show. Drawings will be held on Saturday for all paid table holders for some special prizes.

Thank you to all who have helped to make these events possible and a special thanks to those who share their skills through the demonstrations. See you in September!
