I sure wish that I could make it but I've already committed to be elsewhere. I would absolutely love being there for Alex Daniels' talk. If it about the knife of Mark Zaleski's that I think it is, then I really hate missing out. I saw the knife in Little Rock this winter and would love to hear Alex talk about it. Apart from Bowie No.1, it was the one knife that really "talked to me" from all of the great knives on display.

Hello All;
My wife, Suzanne and I returned home on Monday after attending the Batson Bladesmithing Symposium. Our first time attending.
The hosts,Alabama Forge Council did an outstanding job! The Demos were great! I would like to thank the demonstrators,for taking time to share
their knowledge and experience. A great weekend! Made a lot of new friends. It doesn't get much better than that.
There was a cutting competition. Leave it to Dr. Batson to come up with a new cutting challenge. The competition was won by Russell White.
Hope to make it next year!
