The Alabama Forge Council, (www.Alaforge.org), is proud to announce that "The 24th Batson Bladesmith Symposium & Knife Show" will be celebrated on 13-15 April 2012 at Tannehill Ironworks State Park, (www.tannehill.org), 11 miles west of Bessemer, Alabama.
The featured Demonstrators will be Kevin Cashen, an ABS Master Smith from Michigan and Glen McClain from Indiana, a member of the Contemporary Longrifle Association and Master of making Scotish Dirks and Early American Period Knives. Alex Daniels, Steve Schwarzer, Mel Pardue, Ken Durham, Billy Bates, Mary Bailey, Neil Faulkenberry. Glen Holmes, Dale Huckabee , and Harry Brock will also be demonstrating.

Participate in the CUTTING COMPETITION on Friday night. Bring a sharp knife with forged blade 10 inches or under & total length not over 15 inches. Handle must be pinned with a wrist thong for safety.

Bring examples of your work for the KNIFE SHOW, COLLECTION EXHIBITS & AUCTION
that will be held  on the afternoon of Saturday April 14, 2012 from 1 to 6 pm.

The AUCTION will begin immediately after the KNIFE SHOW.
