.......anyone care to share a suitable drawing/template as a referral, a go to style that in your opinion best suits the performance test requirements....

just curious and also interested in the range of styles you experienced JS and MS have used or seen used in the past....

Hello Rob. The standard shape seems to be a camp knife, slight drop point style. There is a thread in the JS and MS testing section on test knife styles that covers it pretty well.
