Congratulations to everyone else who passed. A lot of work and worry went into that room. I for one am glad it's over...now I can have fun again. BTW how do you put your name in the hat for the Journeyman Knife?

Ben,

Congratulations. As to the name in the hat for the ABS Journeyman Knife of the Year and the annual auction, you just got added to the pool. If you get selected, it is usually a very significant thing. The publicity surrounding the ABS Auction Knives is substantial and I would argue that it can be a major help to anyone's career as a bladesmith. Seriously though, if you really want to be included in the pool of Journeyman Smiths we select from, please send me a private email and include your contact information.

Much appreciated and congratulations. I can remember my own excitement when I go my JS in 1985.

take care,

Dan L. Petersen
