Congratulations. As to the name in the hat for the ABS Journeyman Knife of the Year and the annual auction, you just got added to the pool. If you get selected, it is usually a very significant thing. The publicity surrounding the ABS Auction Knives is substantial and I would argue that it can be a major help to anyone's career as a bladesmith.
