Neels van den Berg Passes Journeyman Smith Performance Test
I was notified today by Master Smith Heather Harvey that ABS Apprentice Smith Neels van den Berg passed the Journeyman Smith Performance Test yesterday. The Performance Test was administered by Master Smiths Kevin and Heather Harvey at their bladesmithing studio in Belfast, South Africa. Congratulations Neels!
In addition, the Harvey's conducted a weekend bladesmithing Hammer-In at their Belfast, South Africa studio for 30 knife makers with some traveling long distances to attend. Master Smith Kevin Harvey delivered a presentation on the Bowie Knife and Arrie van Niekerk gave a presentation on heat treating.
