Hi, last September 20th was very special for me. After years I finally took my JS performance test at MS Rodrigo Sfreddo shop in Nova Petropolis, Brasil.
I passed the test
A good friend, Manuel Quiroga, took this video of the test.

That's GREAT Mariano!
Well done. How many times did you have cut the wood in half? It must have have been nice to have all your friends there. It was fun watching them all celebrating the moment with you at the end. Thanks for sharing it with us too!
All the best, Phil
Thanks!
I´m working on my 5 presentation knives for Atlanta 2011.
MS Sfreddo is a magnificent bladesmith and a great person.
The people in the video were friends of mine and Rodrigo Sfreddo´s students.
It was all very exciting and emotional.
The blade was able to cut wood 4 times, rope 6 times , and shaved my arm 2 times, then bent 90 ° without breaking the edge.
Saludos and thanks to all!

Watching that brought it all back. The tension, the worry, the excitement, but also the celebration. Well done. By the way, I was present at Rodrigo's JS test and it was the same excitement then too. Congratulations. Lin
Congrat's Mariano! Nice job... Looks like everyone had a good time... I imagine it feels pretty good to have that portion of the test out of the way. Not that you will need it based on the work that I have seen from you, but, good luck in Atlanta! Hopefully I will see you there next spring.

Way to go! And thanks for posting up the videos so we could all share in your excitement.
