This was another great hammer-in. The basic theme was around damascus, J W Randall, demonstrated first welds for basic damascus and showed us the many fantastic ways of how to do advanced mosaic damascus. If
you are into mosaic damascus and wanted to know how its done you missed it. Terrry Vandeventer took us through basic damascus and handle and guards. J R Cook explained proper etching and ways of enhancing.
Brion Tomberlin demonstrated proper forging, and grinding. Joe Keesler, demonstrated his wire inlay, and leather work. Mike Wiliams with judging standards for JS and MS. Kenny Roe was also there showing his
excellent leather work. Don McIntosh for preparation, as well as keeping the school in great shape. There were two that did there JS performance test. I cannot remember the gentleman's full name who won the
knife drawing maybe someone could help me out. The weather was great a little warm but great just the same. Got to visit with old friends and make new ones. Thanks to all for another wonderful weekend.
