Thanks Dan. At this point I'm just crossing my fingers that I make it there. Sometimes it is just flat out mind boggling how my life can get in the way of itself.
I am really looking foward to this and getting to see everyone. Good to hear Cindy is coming to handle registration, but that probably means we will have to put up with Butch all weekend!! Butch and Mace Vitale both there could be trouble... I am sure Dr. Jim will have to keep his thumb on them so they don't stir up trouble.
Trouble? I dont know what your talking about Wiggins.
So, your coming north to get out of the cold? Just remember...theres NO Waffle houses in Maine!(I only wish)
Mace
Hey Mace; welcome to the forum!! You must have heard that someone was talking about you. Your ears been burning???
If Ol' Bill gets homesick because there ain't no Waffle Houses In Maine, maybe you can comfort him in another way. I've heard that North Carolina folks like unique whistles.
P.S. Don't let Wiggins stand around any microphones.......
Maybe I should bring Kevin Cashen along, he seems to be able to keep Bill in his place. Bill may have to eat Maine lobster instead of waffles or should that be crawdads. By the way I thought we had a truce, it seems you started it this time.

Dang...A guy takes a couple days between forum visits and returns to this!!! Mace, just so you know, I had a bacon cheeseburger at waffle house yesterday. Dont know what i was thinking, I should have sent a picture. And Butch, we do have a truce....I was just saying And Mr. Culver, guess who has been ask to be auctioneer. Im not real sure why, guess it might be the accent. I am just not sure. But as I proved in San Antonio, I can be dangerous around microphones and speakers!!
I am really hoping to have a good weekend my first time this far north. If I bring everyone a coffee mug from waffle house, can we all be friends??
Bill Wiggins
Bill,
Cindy and I had breakfast at the Waffle House yesterday, didn't realize you could buy coffee mugs. Or do you just borrow them?

Butch
Butch,
No, you can't just buy them. It requires a bit of effort and bartering skills. A Waffle House coffee mug is truly a prized treasure not easily obtained. I have heard of people who would simply carry them out, but that isn't as challenging. And you know me, I never do things the easy way.
Bill
Bill, Waffle house shwag is always a good thing! I do have a 50 year anniversary mug from WH. I only like to break it out on special occasions...like Ashokan. It's nice to have a special mug while eating your bowl of bacon!
As long as you bring yourself we will be happy!....well...maybe a slice of Mitzie's Praleen pie...
On a side note....Dr. Jim has asked me to do a classroom talk.....This will be new for me...anyone have some ideas on what I could talk about. I told him if he put me in front of a forge I would have no problem doing a two hour demo....but he needs something for the classroom. Any ideas would be great!
Thanks guys.
Looking foward to seeing y'all.
Mace
