Dan, thanks for posting this. We are really looking forward to this with the 2 day format. Also, Burt and Jason will be finishing projects and not just the normal forge and grind. And we will have steel making going on the whole time. This should be a great event. I am looking forward to seeing everyone.

Sounds like it is going to be a great weekend!!! I am going to have to get myself over there sometime. It would be interesting to see how ya'll do it different than us hillbillies and the jackpine savages over in Arkansas do it.

Hi Mike,

I have found that a hillbilly is a hillbilly. Don't matter where you find him. We would love to see you in North Carolina sometime. Maybe we can get you here to demo sometime. Do bring a cutter when you come. Just remember, I may be the one running the competition!!! Who knows, maybe the snake charmer would come with you, but I am sure that would be a long shot.

The foot is slowly getting better. I am gonna get in the shop some next week. Who knows, I may even get a knife done before the hammer in.

Bill
