With the Fall Piney Woods Hammer In fast approaching here is the knife which will be given away to paid attendees. This little something extra was started a couple of years ago and gives paid attendees a chance to take home a very nice knife. This takes place at the fall and spring hammer ins at Old Washington. This knife is made by Larry Cox JS and is a really nice damascus small bowie with damascus guard and spacer. I believe ironwood is the handle material. Maybe Larry will chime in and fill us in on the details. A very good reason to attend the hammer in as if there were not enough already. This hammer in will be also be special because we will have Heather and Kevin Harvey as demonstrators all the way from South Africa. It will be great to see them again. One thing about these events, the demos are great, you learn a lot, but the catching up with friends is something special. So mark this weekend on your calendar, October 1st and 2nd 2016 and I hope to see you there.
