It's not long till fall weather!!

The Fall Piney Woods should be a blast this year. Old friends Kevin and Heather Harvey will be sharing their skills with us; good folks and great knife people.

For you guys planning on presenting your knives at Blade for a rating stamp; the hammer-in is the time to fill your notebook. So many questions are answered simply face to face that get all out of whack through the lines of communication.

I never fail to pick up a solid gold tip at each of these; because that's what this craft is about; a lot of small details that add up to a nice knife.

For all of you new guys, miscreants, vagrants and undesirables; look up me or Brion Tomberlin around back of the Best Western where they keep us hid; and we will all go get a bite to eat Friday evening. It will be a good chance to meet some of the regulars before it starts firing on Sat. morning.

See you there.

Contact me if you have any questions I can help you with.

Hmmm Mike, am I a miscreant, vagrant, or undesireable? Lol! Seriously Mike speaks the truth. There is nothing like face to face demos and instruction. Everybody sharing their knowledge. A can't miss weekend. Plus a chance to meet and learn from Heather and Kevin. I know I will be there.

This is an excellent line up, I might be bias, but I don't think so. I wanted to remind you all that if you want to use a credit card for your registration fee, you should do it on line or call me, because in the past, running credit cards on sight has not worked because there is no internet signal, we can try again this year, but no guarantees. On site cash or check is your best bet, but we will see if there is any change this year.

At the risk of repeating myself; this is one not to miss. With the Harveys there you can see some demonstrations that are just not avail here in the states.

This is a very laid back Hammer-In; lots of new guys, lots of real old guys too. Bring your knives; bring your trade goods. There will be plunder of all kind swapped and traded.

As always; if you are planning on testing in ATL next year this is your very best chance to get some very good critiques and " hows to fix it" so that you have the time to get it done.

See you there. Contact me for any questions you may have.

I agree with Mike and I will say it again. If you plan on presenting knives for JS or MS in Atlanta or Kansas City, this is a great opportunity to have knives looked at, critiqued, and find out what you need to work on. The number of mastersmiths available

in one place is a great resource. Plus getting to meet other makers and share ideas is an opportunity you do not get everyday. I look forward to seeing everyone. I also have something to show you Mike.

Hi everybody! It would be great to meet up at dinner Friday night. My wife and I will be at the Best Western too. What time should we look to meet up?

Timothy we usually get together around six, somewhere around the backside of the Best Western. Then we go from there. Looking forward to seeing you all.
