2015 New England Hammer-In Schedule

Auburn, Maine - July 10, 11, and 12, 2015

Pretty good lineup, I think!

Please note that these are NEW DATES! We will be starting FRIDAY AFTERNOON at 3:00 and ebding after the lobster dinner on SUNDAY EVENING.

This concentrates all the great demos on days that more folks have off of work.

Safety glasses are required at all times in the workshop. Safety glasses are available for purchase at the Maine Oxy welding supply store directly across the train tracks.

There will be and open forge area operating all weekend as well as a grinding station. Long pants and leather topped shoes are mandatory for the open forge or grinding station. No exceptions will be made.

Thank you Dan, it was a great event! Derek and Nick did and incredible job putting everything together.

on Saturday night we did the Battle of the bladesmiths, Mace ran the show and this year supplied us with 1080 3/4" sq "railroad spikes" the competitors were from top down Nick Rossi JS, JJ Simon, Myself, and Sam Salvati, after the dust settled the winner was again Nick Rossi JS regaining his title I again placed second (getting a bit used to that at this point... )followed by Sam and JJ, at the auction the knives raised well over $500! the battle is a Ton of fun and a great exhibition of what our smiths are can do, I look forward to it all year... I think I want to just watch next year though...
