Just got a rough draft of what we have going on this year in the works. It should be an exciting one! The SUPER BATTLE prize is a cool FIVE GRAND this year donated by our Gas Supplier sponsor Maine Oxy.

Friday, July 12

3:00- Registration with Barbara Wechter

4:00- First Forging of the Hammer-In with Mace Vitale

6:30- Instructor’s dinner location TBD

Saturday, July 13

7:30- Registration with Barbara Wechter

8:00- Shop: Tenoned Blacksmith Knives with Lin Rhea

8:00- Classroom: Leatherwork with Ben Breda

10:00- Shop: Blade Forging with Jim Crowell: Hand vs. Power Hammer

10:00- Classroom: Oroshigane and Japanese blades Emiliano Carrillo

12:00- Lunch - on site

1:00- Shop: Auction with Master of Ceremony Mace Vitale.

3:00- Shop: Blade Grinding with Jim Crowell

3:00- Classroom: Handles and Guards Theory with Lin Rhea

5:00- Dinner Break

7:00- Shop - SUPER BATTLE!

Sunday, July 14

8:00- Shop: Low Tech Heat Treat and Metallurgy Fundimentals with Lin Rhea

8:00- Classroom: My Favorite Knifemaking Tools and Why with Jim Crowell

10:00- Blacksmith Techniques for Bladesmiths: Bladesmith Boot Camp with Nick Rossi

10:00- Classroom: Damascus Tips and Tricks with Lin Rhea

12:00- Lunch: On site

1:00- Knife Show

3:00- Shop: Forged Friction Folders with Nick Rossi

3:00- ABS Judging Standards with Jim Crowell

5 pm - Lobster Dinner

That is sure to be a good time ! Some tough decisions on where to be for demonstrations. Really looking forward to going.

Looks great, Since I have not been yet.

Where is this at and what costs are there other than travel/lodging.
