Hanford J. Miller passed away on Monday March 25, 2024.  He was a Master Bladesmith and treasurer of the ABS for many years.  Hanford and Bill Moran were the best of friends, like two peas in a pod.  They first met in 1974 at Bill’s shop.  Hanford read about Bill Moran in a library book about knives and realized he was only a short drive away from his home in Randallstown, MD.  Bill was a great mentor and their friendship lasted long after he moved to Colorado in 1976.

Hanford was an incredibly skilled bladesmith, gentleman and true friend to the ABS, he will be missed deeply.
