My name is Neels van den Berg and I am the owner, operator, bottle washer and cook at Black Dragon Forge. I have spent more than a decade honing my skills as a bladesmith and am proud to be associated with the American Bladesmith Society, where I attained my Journeyman Smith stamp in June 2016, and the Knifemakers' Guild of Southern Africa, where I became a member as a bladesmith in July 2017. I have been manufacturing and supplying the ZAn market with Black Dragon Forges since October 2009. My aim is to produce practical, high quality, no nonsense products that "delivers the goods" consistently. Products that puts a smile on the face of my clients during every use. I believe each of the products I produce truly embodies the Black Dragon Forge slogan; "PRACTICAL - PERFORMANCE - QUALITY". Black Dragon Forge is not about chasing the sale.
